This August, join us for an enchanting workshop as we explore the graceful character of Princess Florine from the classic ballet The Sleeping Beauty.

Based on Charles Perrault's timeless fairytale, The Sleeping Beauty tells the magical tale of Princess Aurora who is cursed by an evil fairy to fall into a deep slumber on her sixteenth birthday. The ballet follows Aurora's journey as she is awakened by her true love's kiss, culminating in a joyous wedding celebration. Filled with magical fairies, dazzling dances, and Tchaikovsky's iconic score, The Sleeping Beauty is a timeless masterpiece that captivates audiences with its themes of love, hope, and the triumph of good over evil.

Over the 2-day workshop, you will be immersed in the story of The Sleeping Beauty. The workshop includes a short sharing about the ballet, technique classes and a study on Princess Florine variation in Act III. The workshop will culminate in a showcase where participants will have the opportunity to perform the variation for their family and friends on the last day.​
