Pointe Work
This 20-week course is suitable for adult dancers who are completely new to pointe work. This 2-in-1 training programme is carefully designed to help you achieve your goal of being en pointe safely.
Pre-Pointe Training
Preceding the pointe training, you will be introduced to 4 weeks of pre-pointe training to prepare your body for pointe work. There will be a series of conditioning exercises that are necessary to build up flexibility and strength in the feet, ankles and hips. You will be required to continue these exercises at home throughout the week and chart your progress with our training guide given to you. After the pre-pointe training, you will be advised to attend a pointe shoe fitting session.

Pointe Training
Each class will commence with a 15-minute conditioning session. After which, dancers will learn the basic technique of pointe work primarily at the barre for added support. You will learn movements such as pliés, tendus, glissés, relevés, echappés and simple transference of weight steps.
