The Right Pointe

The Right Pointe is a 2-in-1 training programme that is carefully designed to help you achieve your goal of being en pointe one day.


Preceding the pointe training, you will be required to attend an 8-week pre-pointe training to prepare your body for pointe work. There will be a series of conditioning exercises that are necessary to build up flexibility and strength in the feet, ankles and hips. You will be required to continue these exercises at home throughout the week and chart your progress with our training guide given to you.


At the end of the pre-pointe training, we will review your progress and prepare you to commence pointe work.


Pre-Pointe Training

The 8-week pre-pointe training is designed to prepare your body for the rigours of pointe work.


  1. Increasing flexibility in ankles and feet

  2. Building strength in ankles and feet

  3. Developing stability in the hips

  4. Gaining confidence for centre work

Towards the end of the training, learners will be advised to attend a pointe shoe fitting session.


Our pointe training is designed to help dancers progress safely en pointe. Every class includes ballet conditioning exercises to build strength and flexibility before the commencement of pointe work.
