Swan Lake is a classic tale of the young princess, Odette, who turned into a swan by the curse of Von Rothbart, the evil sorcerer. By day, she is condemned to take the form of a swan and only at night can she regain her human form. This spell can only be broken if a man promises his love and remains faithful to that vow. 

 

In Act II of Swan Lake, Prince Siegfried encounters a magnificent flock of white swans. In awe, he aims his crossbow when suddenly one of the swans is transformed into a beautiful lady. It is Odette, Queen of the Swans. 

 

Over the 2-day workshop, get inducted to the popular classic story of Swan Lake and learn the White Swan variation from the ballet. The workshop will commence with a presentation about the ballet, followed by a technique class and the variation study.

 

On the last day of the workshop, participants will be given the opportunity to perform the variation individually or in pairs and be filmed for personal keepsake. There will also be an optional Zoom performance for your friends and family.
